ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Cheer for Everyone is dedicated to ensuring that our website is accessible to all, including individuals with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

Web accessibility means enabling people with disabilities to perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with the web, contributing to an inclusive online experience for all.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have meticulously aligned this site with the WCAG 2.1 guidelines, ensuring that it meets the AA level of accessibility. Our content is compatible with assistive technologies like screen readers and keyboard navigation. To achieve this, we have:

    • Utilized the Accessibility Wizard to identify and resolve potential accessibility issues
    • Ensured clear page structure and headings throughout the site
    • Provided descriptive alternative text for images
    • Implemented color combinations meeting required contrast ratios
    • Minimized the use of motion and ensured accessibility of multimedia content

Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content

The accessibility of certain pages on the site is influenced by third-party content. As a result, we declare partial compliance with the standard for these specific pages.

Accessibility arrangements in the organization

Our commitment to accessibility extends beyond the digital realm. Our physical offices and branches are equipped with various accessibility arrangements to ensure an inclusive environment for all visitors.

Our operational team includes individuals with various impairments and we understand the challenges faced by our community through lived experience and communication, including co-creation, with the communities we serve. If any part of our activities is inaccessible to you please reach out and let us know so we can find a reasonable adjustment to support your needs.

We do our best to use training venues that are accessible but as the arrangements in those venues are out of our control there may be times when support is needed to access those spaces and if so participants will be advised by email in advance of attending and given opportunities to change their participation, with no judgment or consequences from our delivery team, if the venue isn't accessible to them.
